MD4con 2020 Visalia, California Team Outreach
Team members Dr. Richard Meier, Liz Steves, Mark Lardner, Susan Terry, and Janyce Rossall traveled the 350 or so miles from Reno to Visalia for outreach at the MD4 Convention. A highlight was to meet Lions International Second Vice President Dr. Patti Hill and give her a brief idea about the program (in 2023 she became the International President).
As a team we had the opportunity to give a 30-minute stage presentation and we manned a demonstration and information table for two days. At the table is where we have the opportunity to talk directly with folks and give them an idea of how well the program works and how important it is to so many people. We always have fun screening folks. It is always great to meet with the LEOs (kids 12-18) who attend.
